Flickr is really wonderful!!! I still wonder the way it detects which camera i use to shot every of my photos. when i started to observe it for the first time, i thought that it might depend on the photos' file name to recognize which tool i used to take photos since the name of photos' file names are varied according to the camera for example; my Sanyo's file name are " Sany* " while Fuji's are "DSC*".
It's more amazing that it could detect my Nokia 6280 whoes files have been renamed before hand. So its file names aren't still the default ones. I am still wondering which tool they use to do this thing. Amazing!!!!

Hmm, i think DSC... is for SONY camera.
Detecting camera model has nothing to do with file names cos file names can be changed. i think flickr detects based on the file properties itself (of what i heard such as "exif") which is stored metadata tags automatically on shooting.
hmm.. my friend uses Fujifilm camera, the folder's name is *_fuji.. but the filenames are DSC*..I am not sure btw ;)
Thanks for the clue, i got it now as the new posts come :)
